Doctor
Antonio Longo , D.V.M.
Dr. Antonio Longo has been a staff veterinarian at ITAH since 2004. Born and raised in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, of Cuban parents, Dr. Longo graduated
from Purdue University in 1993. His interests include small animal medicine and surgery, focusing primarily on diagnostic imaging. He also serves as the Chief Veterinary correspondent for the nationally televised Univision Network show “Despierta America” in which he has a recurring segment discussing a variety of veterinary topics. Dr. Longo is fluent in English and Spanish.
Peter Birzon , D.V.M
Dr.Peter Birzon has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years and has owned and operated four animal hospitals in South Florida.
Management
Cledia Santiago , Practice Manager
Cledia was born in Honduras and moved to Florida when she was 10 years old. Her love for animals brought her to Indian Trace Animal Hospital for a career change. Indian Trace gave her the opportunity and she has been here ever since.
Technician
Trista E Meador , Head Veterinary Technician
Trista Meador has been the head technician at Indian since 2005,but has been working here since1998. She is the proud mother of two miniature chihuahuas, Darby and Ripley.
Katie Wingett ,Veterinary Technician
Katie has worked for Indian Trace Animal Hospital since 2003. She owns 2 dogs and two bearded dragons.
Dena Connelly , Veterinary Technician
Dena has been working at Indian Trace Animal Hospital since 2007. Despite her love of animals from a young age, it was not until 
she graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Rollins College in 2007 that she decided to pursue a career as a veterinarian. Dena is currently working towards a second bachelor’s degree in Biology at FAU, and plans on attending vet school. She has a Pomeranian named Taffy and a Maltese named Maggie.
Cari Martin , Veterinary Technician Supervisor
Cari is a Veterinary Technician and has been with Indian Trace Animal Hospital since 1998. Her areas of interest in the veterinary field include surgery and dentistry. She is a South Florida Native and enjoys Scuba Diving, outdoors and spending time with her family and pets.
Nisha Virk , Veterinary Technician
Nisha was born in Miami, Florida,she has been a Veterinary Technician since 1999 she has been working at Indian Trace Animal Hospital since 2007. She loves working with animals . She is a mother of two beautiful children and 11 pets. 6 dogs, 2 cats, 1 bird and 1 fish.
Reception
Martha Vega , Receptionist
Hi my name is Martha Vega, I am a receptionist at Indian Trace Animal Hospital. I was born in cuba and grew up in south Florida . I have a German Shepard named major. Major and I as well as my family have enjoyed such events as Pet Palooza, Walk for the Animals, K-9 October Festival. I have had the opportunity to work with a wonderful staff since June 2006. Its been a wonderful experience working with animals.
Linda Nunn , Head Receptionist
Linda has been working for Indian Trace Animal Hospital since 2000. My Love for Animals is what brought her here. Through the years she has come to meet so many wonderful people and their pets. She loves working here and enjoys helping people trough their happy and sad times.
Belinda Sasso , Receptionist
Belinda moved to South Florida in 2005 from Jamaica, she started working at Indian Trace in February of 2007. She has a feline son named Troopa in which she adopted from Indian Trace. She is completing her degree in psychology at FAU.
Geogiann Peveroff , Receptionist
I have been a receptionist at ITAH since 2006. Previously retired from a Customer Service Management position. I welcome the change of environment and love working with all the animals. I have a Jack Rusell mix that I rescued here about 4 years ago, I also have a baby Chihuahua. I am also the proud mother of two sons and grandmother of three.
